About Me
I am a Graphic and Web Designer from Southwest Wisconsin! I recently graduated from Southwest Wisconsin Technical College in May of 2024. Currently, I am a freelance graphic and web designer and photographer. I have done freelance photography for many years and that struck my interest in the design world. I photograph as well as participate in local dirt track racing events. Due to this, I have always wanted to learn the art of screen printing and embroidering as every couple of years, my family decides to make shirts for our family race team.
When I am not doing design-related things, you can typically find me spending time with family or friends or going to local dirt track racing events.
Services
Graphic Design
I offer many different graphic design services ranging from logo designs to posters. I have created a few different logo designs as well as many shirt designs through my internship at 1-800-T -SHIRTS out of Dubuque Iowa. Looking to get something done? Message me! Photography
I have many years of experience taking photos. I have taken senior photos as well as family and individual portraits. I also have a lot of experience photographing sports, mainly dirt track racing events and high school sports. I have also ventured into photographing animals. Looking to get some pictures taken? Website Building
A new skill that I have acquired over the last couple of years is website building. While a majority of my skills are using WordPress, I also have experience in HTML5, CSS3 and Bootstrap! I have built a couple of sites such as this portfolio, a site for a made-up company called Sprinkles Ice Cream, and a website for a local business in my area! Projects
Midwest Nutrition Website
While learning about the different functions of WordPress, I created a detailed website for a local business that I visit often. The website is fully responsive and has real-life links and information about the business.
Die Cut Sticker
During my pre-press class, I learned about the different forms of printing as well as the setup process for different vendors and prints. We were tasked to create a sticker and prepare it to be printed for our classroom Roland.
Travel Magazine
The first multi-spread project I created was a 12-page travel magazine in my InDesign class. I created a travel magazine for the destination, Bora Bora. This magazine used character and paragraph styles to create a consistent layout throughout.
Apparel Designs
From January 2024 - May 2024, I was an intern at 1-800-TSHIRTS in Dubuque, Iowa. While there, I created many shirts that were taken to production for different businesses. These are a few of my favorites.
HARDY Lyric Video
My largest and most detailed project in my Multimedia Concepts class was a lyric video made using After Effects. I learned about the importance of gathering assets and how to export the media using Media Encoder. I then went through the steps of posting the videos to YouTube.
Photography
While I did take a photography class during my time at Southwest Tech, I have had much more experience with it. I have done freelance photography for many years and recently started getting more serious about it. During the 2024 season, I will be the track photographer at Dubuque Fairgrounds Speedway.
