Midwest Nutrition Website
While learning about the different functions of WordPress, I created a detailed website for a local business that I visit often. The website is fully responsive and has real-life links and information about the business.
Die Cut Sticker
During my pre-press class, I learned about the different forms of printing as well as the setup process for different vendors and prints. I was tasked to create a sticker and prepare it to be printed for the classroom Roland.
Travel Magazine
The first multi-spread project I created was a 12-page Bora Bora travel magazine in my InDesign class. The magazine used character and paragraph styles to create a consistent layout throughout. I then learned about how to print it as a booklet and assemble it.
Apparel Designs
From January 2024 - May 2024, I was a graphic design intern at 1 - 800 - TSHIRTS in Dubuque, Iowa. While there, I created many shirts that were taken to production for different businesses. These are a few of my favorites.
HARDY Lyric Video
My largest and most detailed project in my Multimedia Concepts class was a lyric video made using After Effects. I learned about the importance of gathering assets and how to export the media using Media Encoder. I then went through the steps of posting the videos to YouTube.
Photography
While I did take a photography class during my time at Southwest Tech, I have gained more experience with it. I have done freelance photography for many years and recently started getting more serious about it. During the 2024 season, I will be the photographer at Dubuque Fairgrounds Speedway.
